On 4th August, that is tomorrow at the time of writing of this article, Nokia Mobile scheduled a launch event in China to announce a new smartphone for the Chinese market. Thanks to @Hikari_Calyx via Twitter, we know that the phone to be announced is the Nokia C3 and we also know the specifications.
We already heard about C3 thanks to Geekbench and by connecting the dots from info revealed by different certification agencies. The Nokia C3 should arrive with a 5.99-inch HD+ screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 5MP front camera, 8MP rear camera, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 3040mAh battery and Android 10.
The device appeared on a Chinese webstore, with the images revealing a rear fingerprint sensor and an extra button on the side. The extra key could be related to some health functions because something about health is mentioned on the store, as well as emergency SOS function, but my knowledge of Chinese is limited to the translator app.
The price listed is 999 CNY (121 euro, 143 dollars, 10,760 INR) which looks ok. We will know more about the device tomorrow. If you discover something interesting on the Nokia C3 webstore page, do share with us in the comments down below. 🙂
